FAQ’s
-
If I surrender a pig(s), do I need to give you their supplies too?
No! You are not required to donate anything to us. We ask that the pig(s) be sent with a small amount of the food they are currently eating so we can transfer them onto our feed without risking major tummy troubles. We will never say no to donations, though! Any and all donations are very appreciated and help us and the piggies out a lot.
-
I want to surrender a pig(s), but I saw you run a caviary, too. Will my pig(s) be used for breeding?
No. Any animal in our rescue will never be used for breeding. We keep our two programs separate and have very high standards regarding breeding. Breeding is not something to take lightly; we are cautious with our rescues and breeding stock. Neither of the programs will ever get near each other.
-
Is a deposit required to buy/adopt a pig?
No! Not at all. Deposits are only required if you would like us to hold a pig. You do not need to send a deposit to purchase and/or adopt a pig. We run on a first-come, first-serve policy, which is the reason we have deposits as an option. Deposits are non-refundable and 50% of the total. The deposits are subtracted from the total amount.

I want guinea pigs. Should I get a pig from your breeding line or from your rescue?
It truly depends on your needs and wants! If you wish to have high-quality pigs or to get into breeding, our caviary is an excellent place to start. We are also more than happy to provide recommendations if we do not have what you are looking for. If you are looking for a pet(s), either to add to your existing herd(s) or start a new herd, we strongly encourage you to look at our rescue pigs! Our rescue pigs are just as precious and lovable as our breeding pigs.
